KISS Photos - Beacon Theater, Dressed to Kill tour 1975, (set of 33), Roll 1
Product Description
Set of 33 photos of one of the most important classic shows from the Dressed to Kill Tour at he Beacon Theatre, NYC. March 21, 1975.
This is the ENTIRE roll shot by Bob Gruen. Normally, a professional photographer has to shoot several rolls of film just to get that perfect shot that can be used in publication. But that means there are many, many historical photos that are discarded and you never get to see. Some might be a little blurry, or not framed exactly right, but every single image from this time period is a valuable record of the band as there were relatively few photos taken back in the film era. The entire roll is here with no omissions.
Each is printed on glossy 8 x 12 format. Normally, photos are printed in the 8 x 10 format to fit into standard picture frames, but the correct ratio of the entire film negative is 8 x 12 - you lose two full inches off the sides when printed as an 8 x 10. Again, as these photos are a historical record, the entire width of the 35mm film frame is printed.
We only have this one set that we purchased in a private collection. We do not own the negative nor rights to these photos, just the physical prints. We do no photo reproduction ourselves, all photos sold on this website are prints we buy from collectors.
New, MINT condition - no fingerprints or damage of any kind.
