KISS Poster - Alive II Stage 1977, Paul, (C)
Product Description
ORIGINAL 1977 PRINTING.*
Has some kind of "bleed-through" on the upper left corner on back. This was part of the printing process, it was not marked afterwards. Not exactly sure how how this came about, but it mostly shows on the back and barely on the front, but it is visible - please look at the image carefully.
Taken at the height of their career, these are known to be the most iconic images of the band ever produced and are the most sought after KISS posters of all time.
These are ORIGINAL posters printed 39 years ago in 1977 and were originally offered in the KISS Alive II album order form.
Scan of advertisement is for comparative purposes only, it does not come with the poster.

*About Reproductions vs Original printings:
The close up photo of Paul's eye clearly shows the printing dots. This pattern is from the 3-color printing process and does not show up when posters are scanned and reproduced by modern equipment, (which leaves the reproduction "muddy" looking). Also, the paper in reproductions is slightly thicker and more supple, while '70s printing paper was stiffer and almost crinkly. Plus, the ink of reproductions gives a smoother surface. while original '70s ink feel almost chalky and slightly rough when you run your hand across it. You should always look for these three things when questioning the authenticity of a vintage poster.
