Vinnie Vincent signature on a glossy 8 x 10 inch photograph.
Black ball point pen.
Signed by Vinnie Vincent as part of a large private autograph session exclusively for KISSmuseum.com on 4/26/2018.
As we were signing, Vinnie started to tell us this detailed story about how much more personal ball point pen signatures were and how much more valuable they can be. As a kid, Vinnie wrote to George Harrison's mother and asked for a Beatles autograph. She wrote him back and included a set of signatures in ball point. Vinnie goes on to say how today, autographs are such a big business and need to stand out with big, bold, colorful paint pens. This has it's place, but with the ball point, you have to apply pressure that digs grooves into the paper giving the lines an ever so slight ridge. You can tell a lot about a person's personality by the degree of this they use. We didn't bring a ball point, but dug around the hotel and found one for him to use. We have to agree, the signatures on this set of photos does have a personality of it's own!
We had hundreds of items singed in a small, relaxed, private setting where Vinnie could get comfortable and spend his time to produce quality signatures away from the stress and hectic nature of a public-line type autograph session. Vinnie was in such a good mood and had us laughing the whole time with his amazing KISS stories from back in the day. He made a very concerted effort to pick the right pens and colors to get the best results - he definitely cared about quality and it shows. Vinnie signed for hours - well into the night and we could not be happier with the results.
The KISSmuseum is a full-time KISS retail business and we believe in selling large amounts at lower prices rather than the other way around. Because of this, we can keep our prices consistent with what Vinnie charges at a typical public autograph show.
We feel we scored big with this exclusive signing session because of the quiet, controlled environment as well as Vinnie's attention to quality and detail to produce some of the best VV autographs you can find.
Un-numbered batch of 50.
