Producer Bob Ezrin used the original masters from 1976 to reconstruct the album from top to bottom. Using modern technology he corrected the misinterpreted lyric, "...Down 95" in Detroit Rock City to the actual lyric, "... Doin' 95 [mphs]." Also included is the original Ace Frehley guitar solo for Sweet Pain. Most notable is the inclusion of the original cover artwork by Ken Kelly that was deemed too violent. The band is wearing their Alive! costumes instead of the updated Destroyer costumes, which weren't complete yet.
